Jamie Bartholomaus, President, Foothills Brewing
Jamie Bartholomaus has been a leader in the craft beer industry since 1993, working in nearly every facet of brewing before founding Foothills Brewing in 2005. What began as an 800-barrel operation has, under his leadership, grown into a regional powerhouse producing over 40,000 barrels annually. A two-time president of the North Carolina Craft Brewers Guild and a steadfast advocate for the state’s brewing community, Jamie has helped shape the growth and collaboration of North Carolina’s independent beer industry. Known for his innovative spirit and business acumen, he has expanded the Foothills brand to include a café, coffee roasting company, and THC beverage line. Beyond his own success, Jamie has mentored countless brewers and supported the continued education of those in the craft. His contributions earned him induction into the Order of the Lupulin at the 2024 NC Beer Industry Awards.
